Join Harry Putter (Nathan Shrake) and his friends, Hermione Lone Ranger (Christina Holaday) and Ron Weaselby (Erik Skramstad), on their quest to set the record straight about their first year at Pigblemish school. Discover the truth about the stories that inspired the popular books and movies, including invisibility blankies gone awry, fearsome trolls invading the castle, and Draco Milfoil's flying vacuum cleaner.

"Harry Putter and the Sorcerer's Phone" is a loving mockumentary parody of the first book and movie in the similarly named Harry Potter series. First inspired by the writer/director's similar appearance to the movie Potter, the script saw its first draft in 2004 and found its way into production in Summer 2006. This is director Jeremy Gustafson's first film project, supported by local actor / producer / casting director Matthew Feeney (www.matthewfeeney.com).

In addition to the 15-minute film itself, the DVDs include the Putter 1 trailer, a director/producer's commentary, and a behind the scenes footage and outtakes reel. Anyone who worked on the film (cast, crew, extra, location contact, etc) is entitled to receive a free copy. For all others, the DVD may be purchased for $10.
