How did you hear about the original auditions?
I read about it in the Northfield News.
What stories can you tell about the audition experience? Were you nervous? Was it fun? Scary?
Before the audition I met some girls that were also auditioning (who got the roles of Doily and Ginny), they were very intimidating with their professional head shots and I only sent in one that my mom took of me in the kitchen.
Before filming, had you read the Harry Potter books or seen the actual movies?
I love the books and have seen all the movies too.
If so, did that influence how you acted your character?
No, because my character was made into a girl so I just kind of went off of the description of the character.
Have your friends ever said you look like your character?
I hope not because it's supposed to be a boy!
On Set
What were your first impressions on your first day of shooting?
I was very surprised by how many takes we had to do. It was much more easy going than I thought it would be.
What is your favorite memory from being on the set?
My favorite memory is when we filmed at St. Olaf because its in my town and my friends got to be extras.
Aside from yourself, who was your favorite member of the cast?
I had a lot of fun with Doily.
Did you have a favorite crew person?
The sound man.
Is this your first film project or have you worked on many other movies in the past?
This was my very first movie besides the ones my friends and I make.
