How did you hear about the original auditions?
Saw auditions on MN Film and TV web site
What stories can you tell about the audition experience? Were you nervous? Was it fun? Scary?
I was nervous, but it was fun. The fact that I was short compared to the 2 guys I auditioned with most was funny because they kept high fiving each other over my head.
Before filming, had you read the Harry Potter books or seen the actual movies?
I had read all the books and seen all the movies several times. I have them on dvd.
If so, did that influence how you acted your character?
The way I presented myself was influenced by my seeing the movies and reading the books. I showed up to my audition with my hair like Hermione's and wore my black suit.
Are you anything like your character, or, which Harry Potter character are you most like?
I'm very studious but I don't think I'm as bossy as she is in the books, though I do have my moments.
Have your friends ever said you look like your character?
Yes, more so when I was younger, my friends often said I looked like her.
Will they after they see the film?
Yes I think so. My hair is usually straight and I wore it curly during filming.
On Set
What were your first impressions on your first day of shooting?
I was excited and thought it would be alot of fun. I hoped to learn alot about film making.
What is your favorite memory from being on the set?
Most of my favorites involve Jeremy saying cut then still keeping the camera on to catch us doing something funny or odd.
Aside from yourself, who was your favorite member of the cast?
I enjoyed talking to Skylar the most I think. She is alot like myself.
Did you have a favorite crew person?
I really liked Tony, the sound guy.
Is this your first film project or have you worked on many other movies in the past?
It's my first film.
Most importantly, did you have fun?
I had a blast.
Are there any other stories from set you want to share?
When Tony was fell asleep on the couch and we got the behind the scene's camera and started filming him, calling his name. He didn't wake up until Nate grabbed him, that's when he woke up with a scream and jumped up. It was really funny.
The Future
Do you plan on returning next summer to shoot Harry Putter 2?
Of course, I can't wait.
The script for Harry Putter 2 is currently in its third draft, but if you could write one special scene to be included, what would it be, and how would you make it funny?
I would make sure to put in about the pollyjuice and instead of it turning you into something else, it would make you drunk. Only Harry and Ron would drink it and Hermione would just shake her head at them all passed out.
If you had the chance to work side by side with any actor (local, Hollywood, union or not, anyone), who would it be?
There's so many I would love to work with, but Sandra Bullock is my favorite actress and that would be a dream come true.
